Clomiphene Citrate (Clomid) is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) used to treat and,. It works by binding to estrogen receptors in breast tissue. In women, Clomid can be beneficial, particularly for women with an increased likelihood of breast cancer. It can be used in conjunction with a fertility treatment, such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF). It is generally well tolerated, with minimal side effects. In some cases, it may be necessary to reduce the dose to less than 5mg per day. It can also be used in cases of elevated liver enzymes or unexplained infertility. It works by blocking estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, thus stimulating the ovaries to produce more follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which is necessary for ovulation. In some cases, clomiphene citrate can be used to increase fertility, and in this case it may be used alone or in combination with other fertility treatments. However, it is important to note that while this medication is generally well tolerated, it may not be as effective as Clomid in increasing fertility in women with an intact uterus or in women with a history of anovulation. Additionally, there is no specific benefit to using Clomid in women with infertility, and it should be used under the guidance of a healthcare provider. If you have concerns or questions about Clomid or its use, speak with your healthcare provider.

I have been struggling to conceive for about 8 years now. I was conceived in August 2014 and I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 years now. I was given Clomid but it has been struggling to get pregnant. I have been trying for fertility treatments for the past 6 months. I have tried to get pregnant with ovulation induction medications like Clomid, HCG, and letrozole, but I still have questions. Does it work for me to conceive? What are the benefits/side effects of Clomid? What is the best way to conceive and how do I take it? What are the risks and benefits of taking Clomid? Any advice is much appreciated.
Fertility Meds
Hi I was just trying to get pregnant but my fertility was not as good as it was supposed to be. I was prescribed Clomid. I took it for a year before trying it. I have been taking it for 3 years now. My cycles have been very regular. The first cycle was 3x1 day. The second cycle was 4x1 day. I have been on it for a year and a half. The third cycle was 2x3 day. The last cycle was a total of 3 days. I have had 2 miscarriages in the last year. I did have a miscarriage the previous year and it happened in July. I was given clomid to see if it worked. I have been on it for a year now. My cycle has been on it for 4 months now. I have been taking it for about 3 years now. I have been trying to get pregnant for about 4 years now. I had no other options but was told to take it for 4 weeks. I was told to take a month to try a month later and it worked. I did have a miscarriage the previous year but it didn't happen. I had to go back on it for about 5 years but it did not work. I had to wait 2 months for it to work and then I got pregnant again. I did have a miscarriage the first year but it was my first time on Clomid. I also have had 2 miscarriages in the last 6 months and I am having more issues than before. I am not sure if it is all due to Clomid or if it was a combination of it and Clomid. I am hoping for the best for now. Thanks for any advice.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply. I have been taking Clomid for about 2 months now. I was on it for about 3 years and I have been taking it for 6 months. It has been my only option since I was told to take it. The other two have been taking it for about 3 years now. I have been on it for about a month and it worked. I am hoping to get pregnant soon but it doesn't work. I am trying to conceive on my own.
It is important to note that Clomid can interact with other fertility drugs, which could be harmful or even harmful if taken in combination. Your advice is very welcome.
